“They will fight against
you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,"
declares the Lord.
This remark made by the
Lord does not only apply to Jerusalem, it also applies us. As Christians, we have problems and along with
those problems, there are also people in our lives who seem to take delight in
making us feel bad. Actually, even some of them, when blinded by the devil, do
things to harm us. Of course, if we would let ourselves be affected with what
they do to us, we will be defeated. This is due to the fact that our human nature would definitely try to get
even with them or we would be triggered to say bad words and spread false news
against them. By doing those things, we would be sinning to God. However, if we
would just leave those people in God's hands, we can make Him smile. As He has
said, "vengeance is mine". Thus, if there is someone in your life
right now who does everything to piss you off or to make you feel so down or
very unworthy of any happiness then, you should just leave
that person in God's hands. As a matter of fact, it would glorify Him more if
you would teach yourself to love that person and pray for blessings to come to
his/her life. As Jesus has commanded, "love your enemies and pray for
those who persecute you." If we
remain loyal to His teachings, we can be sure that blessings will surely come
to our lives.
